WolvenThrone

About the artist

Wolventhrone is an American melodic black metal band hailing from New Orleans, Louisiana, known for its atmospheric, medieval-infused soundscapes that evoke the misty, foreboding "mires" of the city's underbelly. Formed in the vibrant and shadowy underground scene of the American South, the band blends raw black metal aggression with melodic structures, drawing on themes of medieval lore, nature's ferocity, and existential darkness—hallmarks of the genre's second wave while infusing a distinctly regional, swampy grit.
