Warrant is an American glam metal band formed in 1984 in Hollywood, Los Angeles. The band achieved commercial success between 1989 and 1996, with five albums collectively selling more than 10 million copies worldwide. They gained national recognition with their debut album, "Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich" (1989), which was certified double platinum, and its single "Heaven", which reached number one on the Rolling Stone charts and number two on the Billboard Hot 100.
