Wafeek

About the artist

Wafeek (www.wafeek.com) is a St. Louis, Missouri born, Los Angeles based emcee who "does it for the streets, freeks and geeks." He’s got a virtuoso soul capable of connecting with folks from corners, clubs and cafés. He’s a loudmouth like Luda, a lyricist à la Lupe and a dope-smokin’ dude like Devin. Wafeek does it for the streets. He spits with the swagger of a street-scholar, sleeping with the facts and dreaming up the fiction. He chronicles hustle, struggle and hood ambition with biting honesty and extraordinary empathy.
