VGmates

About the artist

VGmates is a Slavic-Australian original band from Sydney, Australia. Even though the band’s general style can be described as folk or ethno-fusion, their music stands out from traditional folk as you know it. They absorb various countries’ styles and make them their own - distinctive and truly original. This six-piece band uses a lot of unusual ethnic musical instruments – vargan and balalaika, futujara and Armenian duduk, kalimba and ocarina
