Tracy Vignati

About the artist

Once there were only two jazz artists - Chet Baker and Sarah Vaughn - who sang ballads so nakedly and vulnerably that they seemed to know the secrets of your heart. Now there is a third, Tracy Vignati. Formerly, Tracy Todd, listening to Tracy Vignati is like nothing else on the jazz scene today. Amidst all the riffs and stylistic flourishes, she is unique in her crystal clarity of voice, her ability to reveal every nuance in a lyric and, most of all, the raw courage she has to just sing the song.
