About the artist

Topdown Dialectic is the alias of the San Francisco-based producer and False Aralia label co-founder Izaak Schlossman. Through his work as Topdown Dialectic, Schlossman explores the intersection of dub and techno, creating psychedelic, textural, system-based music. He released his self-titled debut album in 2013, and since 2018, most of his work has also been self-titled, featuring even-length, untitled tracks. Through this, as well as the project’s transient anonymity
