About the artist
Theo Cas breaks the mold for what a band can be. While being steeped in soul jazz and funk traditions with a great female vocalist - Jennifer Henderson, and being known for high energy rhythms and downtempo textures, the music and lyrics are generally based on ideas concerning humanity and untapped human possibility. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EaYVGF10WWM The name Theo Cas comes from the obscure but legendary writer / musician /healer Thelonious Castaneda.
