About the artist

Martin Cartledge is the founder of Weekend World label. Weekend World is the solo project of Producer Martin Cartledge. Martin hails from deepest, darkest West Yorkshire...Bradford to be precise. When not bothering sheep on the moors, Martin started developing a love of dance music from going to clubs like Back to Basics, Up yer Ronson & The Orbit. As luck would have it Martin found himself to be a bit useful in the recording studio, and hence in order to getting a proper job (although his Mum does say he had a paper round once
