The Notes
About the artist
With their combination of sweeping circa nineteen80’s new-wave, C86 - heart breaking melodies, the punchy, slightly fractured, still fully formed Factory-era drum machine beats and bleach-wash glazed new-waveasque guitars THE NOTES cut a glassy moving affecting musical effect with thier songs…well...if Annick Honorés could have written love letters back to her tragic Romeo Ian Curtis over Myspace in 2010..this is what they’d sound like. Beautifully forlorn, wilful, heart filling stuff.
