The Humanities

About the artist

The Humanities are an alternative group from Australia who recently released their first EP, Real Actors, Fake Battles. This 6-track album was a download-only release, available through the usual online outlets (napster, iTunes, etc). The Humanities are an interesting mix. Essentially they are instrumental rock, mixed with all kinds of electronic and odd prog things like organs and classical influences. Of course it is natural to throw the tag prog at anyone who uses more than just drum, guitar and bass.
