The Evening Watch
About the artist
The Evening Watch is the pen name of Irish-based composer/musician Andrew Cooke. Although primarily interested in classical composition, he has been a dedicated songwriter for over ten years and writes, records and mixes all songs in a home studio set-up. Influenced by a wide range of different genres; anything from Renaissance polyphony (!) through jazz, blues, folk, psych, rock and electronica, the resultant songs end up synthesising any number of different elements yet ultimately still possess an accessible individuality.
