Sol Blackman

About the artist

Sol Blackman is the modern day incarnation of the quintessential "Soul Man" in the tradition of the great "Soul Men" of the past. Soulfully, he provides melodic insight into the heart of a man over a stirring canvas of live instrumentation. It’s a familiar, yet original, sound that resonates with the old as well as the young. It’s an intoxicating groove that’s as much “Old School” as it is “Top 40”. It’s a feeling that’s as much today, as it is yesterday, as it is yesteryear.
