Shushu

About the artist

Shushu is a Chinese producer, songwriter, and singer who first gained attention through her involvement with the influential Shanghai label Genome 6.66 Mbp. After spending a few years in Paris, where she built creative ties with collectives like Abîme, High Heal, and Brussels-based ISENGARD , she’s continued to shape a sound that blends fragility with distortion. Her music draws from a wide range of references, from Don Hertzfeldt’s surreal animations to the emotional haze of Lil Peep
