Rodney Allen

About the artist

Rodney Allen was signed to The Subway Organization in 1986 after Martin Whitehead had seen him play just one gig. Allen was sixteen years of age at the time and came from Pilton village, near the site of Glastonbury festival. He recorded one album in a very brief session and it was followed by a 12" the next year. A year later he joined The Chesterf!elds as second guitarist, they were a pop group from Yeovil who were also on The Subway Organization label.
