Repion

About the artist

Repion defines itself within the grunge-pop genre, emphasising that, although they do not strictly follow pop structure, their melodies are very pop-like and their choruses are catchy. Their style is a fusion of the energy of 90s rock and grunge with visceral lyrics. The lyrics, written by Marina Iñesta, have been described as a ‘musical diary of memories’ that reflect anger, frustration and melancholy based on everyday experiences. Among the influences cited by the Iñesta sisters are bands such as Dover
