There are two artists with this name: 1. Pollo Del Mar is one of the most successful bands of surf music’s “Third Wave.” With a sound that mixes the classic twangy, reverb soaked Fender guitars with layers of atmospheric feedback and a powerhouse rhythm section, Pollo Del Mar brings it all screaming into the new millennium. Pollo Del Mar’s all instrumental set consists of original music, with the occasional vintage surf tune, or interpretations of compositions by Edvard Grieg, Frank Zappa, Led Zeppelin, and The Dead Kennedys.
