On a Solid Rock

About the artist

On a Solid Rock were a hardcore punk band from Palokka, Finland, rising from the ashes of Defend and Rebound. They released one EP called Where Kids Don't Play (2002) and one full-length album, Steal It Back (2004), through Combat Rock Industry. Their music is an excellent mixture of pure raging hardcore and a bit more melodic punk rock. OASR was a very popular band amongst the Finnish underground hardcore scene, also for their energetic live shows, until they broke up in 2005. Reasons for this can be read (only in Finnish) on their homepage.
