Merci Raines
About the artist
With a mood that mirrors her home city of New Orleans, Merci Raines writes pop songs with an undeniable dark side. She credits her “witch pop” sound to the inspiration she has found in the Deep South and it’s many eccentric corners and characters. Merci's identifiable sound is characterized by her deep smoky vocals and sharp, unapologetic lyrics that speak to anyone who chooses courage over silence.
