About the artist

Maladanza is the ensemble from Spain. Maladanza began its journey in Calahorra in the spring of 1999 in response to the interest of its components in early music and playing instruments such as hurdy time, the psaltery, rebec, the sitar and so on. Thus, the group begins to gather material in order to adapt the instruments developed to date, respecting the melody but reject the changes or nuances in the structures of the issues and the interpretation of the voices, to try to achieve final product as closely as possible.
