Le Volcanic Institution are a two piece indie/folk/ambient/lo-fi/psychedelic band from Northumberland, England. Their music embraces melody and ambiance in conjunction with hazy-eyed verses, vocal harmonies, whistles, ukulele, accordion, guitar and a sampler. The band have been described to have "the structure of Animal Collective with the sound of Grizzly Bear or Fleet Foxes". The band was spawned from a friendship between Jamie-Alexander Adair and Brendon Tron
