Lass

About the artist

There's at least three artists going by the name Lass: 1) Lass cleverly reconciles the centuries-old heritage of great African singers and the modern style of contemporary Afropop stars. Senegalese by birth, he learned music at a very young age, watching Omar Pene and Ismael Lo perform in Youssou Ndour's Dakar club. After his first singles recorded in the studios of Daara J, he was truly "saved" by music. The story is incredible but true: in the nineties
