I'min

About the artist

New York City K-R&B singer I’MIN blends the R&B traditions of Korea and the United States sonically, lyrically, and culturally. While his vocal tone is sweet and silk-soft like many of his K-R&B forebearers, the sound he is cultivating takes takes more after neo-soul legends like Maxwell, Musiq Soulchild, and D’Angelo. Rooted in experience and rich imagination, I’MIN’s music ponders big existential questions and explores the bittersweet, double-edged nature of romance.
