Estron

About the artist

Estron is one of the aliases of Geraint Ffrancon, the man responsible for High Quality Recordings. The concept behind Estron's first and so far only release, 'Y Crack Cymraeg' ('The Welsh Crack') was to create new interpretations of traditional Welsh folk melodies. The album was well-received by The Wire magazine, who described it as "ultra-cool, idyllic electronica". Ffrancon is currently working on a second Estron album provisionally entitled 'Radio Cymry'.
