Dels

About the artist

Dels is a hip-hop pseudonym of Kieren Dickins. His eclectic influences span two-step garage (from a membership band as a teenager) and Joe Goddard (Hot Chip), his long-standing creative partner. The resulting product is a unique mishmash of squelchy bass lines, tinkering keys, syncopated drum patterns and the occasional steel pan, all juxtaposed by Dickins’ infectiously languid flow. Having been discovered at the tender age of 16 by John Peel
