About the artist

Originally based in the University of the Philippines at Los Banos, DATU'S TRIBE first burst into the early 90s Manila music scene through the support of (now defunct) radio station LA Rock 105.9 FM. The timing couldn't have been more opportune as The Eraserheads, Yano, and The Youth had just begun to pave the way for the massive commercial acceptance of local alternative rock acts in the country. As major labels began to sign-up bands left and right in a collective bid to exploit the emergent trend
