Cody Purvis (born January 31, 1994) is an American country music artist. Early life Purvis was born January 31, 1994 in Charlottesville, Virginia to parents Marlina Smith (neé Gurley) and David Purvis. Raised in Virginia, Purvis graduated from Albemarle High School, Class of 2012. Music has always been a huge part of Purvis' life. Purvis was immersed in Country music from a young age, as his mother and father both were singers in local country bands.
