Cinder Well

About the artist

Cinder Well is the musical project of LA/ Ireland–based songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist Amelia Baker (member of the dark folk band Blackbird Raum and the anarcho-punk band The Gembrokers). Her starkly emotive vocals and surrealistic lyrics are framed by cinematic arrangements drawing from traditional and experimental music. Cinder Well is at the vanguard of a different kind of transatlantic folk revival, one forged amidst the uncertainty of a global pandemic.
