About the artist

BUDDHISTSON are: TAKUYA SHIMA - VO/GT MARCY - DR YUMI - KEY YAS UENUMA - BA HIROSHI YOSHII - GT The BUDDHISTSON sound is ethereal and raw, with soaring vocals sometimes melting into the riffs and synths of their emotionally charged melodies. SHIMA (lead vocals/guitar) and MARCY (drums) started the band with YAS (bass) in the summer of 1999. SHIMA named the band BUDDHISTSON...because he loves BUDDHA. Their 1st single was titled "TOWERS" and their 1st album was titled "where are you going to bury the contents of your mind?".
