B Young

About the artist

B Young (born Bertan Jafer) is a prominent British singer, rapper, and songwriter from Hackney, East London. Best known for his signature melodic rap style, he seamlessly blends hip-hop, Afroswing, and dancehall influences. Before making his breakthrough as a front-facing musical artist, he spent several years working behind the scenes as a self-taught sound engineer. This technical background allowed him to master recording, mixing, and video editing directly from his bedroom studio.
