Autograph

About the artist

Autograph was an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1983. The band was best known for its 1984 hit song "Turn Up the Radio". The group of musicians began playing and recording together, soon taking the form of an actual band. Together, they chose the name "Autograph" while driving from Los Angeles to Jacksonville, Florida, to open for Van Halen in January of 1984. They recorded their first rough demos in late 1983, but played them only for a few close friends.
